The Overview:


ThriftEasy is a Maltese thrift brand offering everything from affordable everyday secondhand pieces to premium imported vintage, bringing a shopping culture that thrives across Europe to a local market that barely has it yet.


Built entirely independently from the ground up in summer 2025, every element of ThriftEasy was handled solo. Brand identity, web design, product photography, stock sourcing, social media, and live pop-up events.


The Opportunity:


Travelling across Europe, thrift shops were everywhere, each one different, each one with its own character and stock you couldn't find anywhere else.


Back in Malta, the options existed but the experience of potentially finding hidden gems didn't, and nothing worth coming back for.


ThriftEasy was built to try and bring that missing energy locally. It's still a work in progress, but the gap it's going after is real.



The Work:


The brand started with the basics, a name that does the work itself. ThriftEasy.mt tells you exactly what it is, what to expect, and where it's from. No ambiguity.


The visual identity followed the same logic. Green and cream for a welcoming, approachable feel. A clean Cooper BT logo that's clear over clever. The goal was a brand that felt intentional and trustworthy from first glance. Not another forgettable local shop.


Stock started with donated pieces to get the store live and test the concept. Then imported wholesale was brought in to elevate the offering, giving the brand something unique and different from anything else locally available.


The pop-ups came from a simple insight: an online brand is easy to dismiss. A physical presence makes it real. Putting the brand in front of real customers, building trust face to face, and validating that the interest was actually there.
